Do I need to install an app?
No. Scaffa runs in any mobile browser — Chrome, Safari, or any other. No app store download needed. Just open scaffa.co.uk on any phone and it works.
Does this actually meet the legal requirement?
Scaffa is built around Regulation 12 of the Work at Height Regulations 2005, which requires scaffolds to be inspected at intervals not exceeding 7 days by a competent person. You remain responsible for ensuring your inspectors are competent — Scaffa handles the record-keeping, certification, and cycle tracking.
What happens to my data?
Your inspection records, team data, and certificates are stored securely and belong to you. We are UK GDPR compliant. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use my own company logo on certificates?
Yes. Upload your logo in company settings and it will appear on every PDF certificate you generate — including the company name and registered details.
What's CISRS and why does it matter?
CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolding Record Scheme) is the UK's card scheme for scaffolding operatives and supervisors. The card type and number are required on a compliant inspection record. Scaffa stores your team's CISRS cards and auto-fills them when an inspector logs an inspection.
